Tonal Essences Music is a unique and innovative digital music project that explores different styles and sounds using an advanced Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).
The tracks are instrumental and are often inspired by science, technology, space, and nature, with each composition starting from an interesting sound, storyline, title, or image.
Tonal Essences uses digital MIDI instruments, effects, audio loops and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in its music production process, as well as using Artificial Intelligence in the creation of associated cover and video artwork.

A new track called “DNA” is out now.
A new track called “DNA” by Tonal Essences has been released.
​
This DNA-inspired instrumental track is designed to evoke the essence of DNA's structure, with its elegant spirals, rhythmic twists, and endlessly repeating sequences that underpin biological complexity. Just as the 12 notes of a musical scale combine to create infinite melodies, the four chemical bases of DNA; adenine, thymine, cytosine, and guanine; intertwine to compose the vast diversity of life, drawing a parallel between the simplicity of foundational elements and the complexity they can achieve.

“Alien Shores”
A new track called “Alien Shores” by Tonal Essences has been released.
​
The idea for the instrumental track "Alien Shores" started with its title, then AI generated album artwork to help visualise the music idea, and the aim to make the music feel otherworldly, abstract, and ambient, but still musical. During the mixing of the track, a lot of effects and automation were used to give a feeling of movement and volume and frequency swells.

“Searching for Peace”
A new track called “Searching for Peace” by Tonal Essences has been released.
​
While exploring music ideas online, the concept of linking frequencies to specific emotions was found. Despite lacking empirical support for this concept, the idea inspired the “Searching for Peace” track. The frequency of 396Hz is thought to produce a sense of peace. This frequency is near a G note on the piano so the music was composed in the Key of G. The track starts with a frequency sweeping up to 396 Hz. The music then varies, rising and falling as if “Searching for Peace” and finally ending at the frequency of 396Hz.

“Hustle Bustle”
A new track called “Hustle Bustle” by Tonal Essences has been released.

The Tonal Essences “Hustle Bustle” instrumental track seeks to capture the essence of a bustling city scene, where one moment a sound captures your focus, only to be replaced by a new sound from a different direction. Within the familiar tone, yet ever-evolving soundscape of the track, the interplay of various instruments subtly shifts, with each instrument vying for its moment in the spotlight as the music ebbs and flows with an infectious energy.

“Tranquil Whispers”
A new track called “Tranquil Whispers” by Tonal Essences has been released.

The inspiration behind the "Tranquil Whisper" track title came from a quiet synth sound in the background which sounded like someone whispering. Hopefully, the harp-like synth sound also aids in making this another chill-out track that you listen to while you relax.

“Solar Winds”
A new track called “Solar Winds” by Tonal Essences has been released.

The inspiration for this track was the “Solar Winds”. The solar wind is a stream of charged particles released from the upper atmosphere of the Sun, called the corona. This plasma mostly consists of electrons, protons and alpha particles.
The solar wind is constantly flowing through space, and it can have a significant impact on Earth's atmosphere and climate.

"Twilight"
A new track called “Twilight” by Tonal Essences has been released.
​
The Twilight track actually started by simply experimenting with an AI music tool that helps create chord progressions etc. while following the music theory, it has been taught. At a time when there are concerns about what AI might be capable of doing, there are specific specialised AI tools that increase efficiency and productivity across various tasks like music making. This type of AI can free up the human mind to focus on more creative tasks, leading to improved outcomes and greater innovation.

“Cosmic Web”
A new track called “Cosmic Web” by Tonal Essences has been released.

The inspiration for this track was the “Cosmic Web”. The cosmic web is a large-scale structure of the universe made up of interconnected filaments and clusters of galaxies. These filaments are made up of dark matter and gas, and galaxies form along the filaments where they are fed by the gas. The cosmic web is thought to be the largest and most massive structure in the universe.
