Tonal Essences

Tonal Essences is the name under which I release my music as an Independent Electronic Digital Music Creator.

 

Tonal Essences (also known to some as Tonal E or just TE) is about composing digital music using a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) in this case the PreSonus Studio One software. This DAW is used to create, sound engineer and master all of the Tonal Essences tracks. Most of the instruments in the music are MIDI instruments with some effects and instrument loops.

I also use Arturia Pigments synth software and iZotope’s Iris  sample-based synthesizer  software to create my own synth sounds.

 

Often when creating a new piece of music the process starts with a new sound that is interesting or a simple story line or image that the music attempts to paint in sound.

 

The first music released by Tonal Essences is classified as Electronic, Digital, Chill-out, Ambient but this is not a hard and fast guide as the intention is to experiment in other music styles and sounds and explore areas and aspects of sound engineering and music theory etc.
